Dimana 3 orang pasien minta ganti infus. Kalo Cuma ganti botol infuse sih gua jago banget, hehehe, tapi ini botol ciprofloxacin infuse kalo mau abis harus gua ganti dengan apa?. Ciprofloxacin lagi atau asering lagi?. Damn!!. Perawatnya pun menghilang entah kemana. Jadilah kerjaan gua Tanya-tanya ama keluarganya tentang infuse. Baca Lebih Lanjut »

Background. Doxycycline is used in combination with quinine for malaria treatment or alone for malaria chemoprophylaxis. However, the occurrence of malaria after doxycycline chemoprophylaxis has been reported. Identification of genetic determinants that contribute to the suscep […]help@www.journals.uchicago.edu (Sébastien Briolant et al)
- Early Interferon‐γ Response against Plasmodium falciparum Correlates with Interethnic Differences in Susceptibility to Parasitemia between Sympatric Fulani and Dogon in Mali November 23, 2009The Journal of Infectious Diseases, Volume 0, Issue 0, Page 000, Latest Articles. Introduction. Interethnic differences in susceptibility to malaria provide a unique opportunity to explore immunological correlates of protection. The Fulani of Sahelian Africa are known for their reduced susceptibility to Plasmodium falciparum, compared with surrounding tribes […]help@www.journals.uchicago.edu (Matthew B. B. McCall et al)
- Trends in Patterns of Dengue Transmission over 4 Years in a Pediatric Cohort Study in Nicaragua November 23, 2009The Journal of Infectious Diseases, Volume 0, Issue 0, Page 000, Latest Articles. Background. Dengue is the most prevalent mosquito‐borne viral disease in humans and a major urban public health problem worldwide. Methods. A prospective cohort study of ∼3800 children initially aged 2–9 years was established in Managua, Nicaragua, in 2004 to study the natural […]help@www.journals.uchicago.edu (Angel Balmaseda et al)
- Bacteriophage Therapy of Salmonella enterica: A Fresh Appraisal of Bacteriophage Therapy November 23, 2009The Journal of Infectious Diseases, Volume 0, Issue 0, Page 000, Latest Articles. Background. The most serious criticisms leveled at bacteriophage therapy are as follows: phages induce neutralizing antibodies, phages are active only when administered shortly after bacterial infection, and phage‐resistant bacteria emerge rapidly in the course of therapy. Meth […]help@www.journals.uchicago.edu (Rosanna Capparelli et al)
- Binding of Salmonella‐Specific Antibody Facilitates Specific T Cell Responses via Augmentation of Bacterial Uptake and Induction of Apoptosis in Macrophages November 23, 2009The Journal of Infectious Diseases, Volume 0, Issue 0, Page 000, Latest Articles. Background. Most antigens from intracellular bacteria or vaccines induce both humoral and cell‐mediated immune responses, but interactions between these responses are not fully understood. This study aims to resolve how specific antibodies participate in the activation of speci […]help@www.journals.uchicago.edu (Masahiro Eguchi et al)
- Repeated Chlamydia trachomatis Genital Infections in Adolescent Women November 23, 2009The Journal of Infectious Diseases, Volume 0, Issue 0, Page 000, Latest Articles. Background. Repeated Chlamydia trachomatis infections are common among young sexually active women. The relative frequency of reinfection and antibiotic treatment failure is undefined. Methods. Adolescent women enrolled in a longitudinal cohort had behavioral and sexually trans […]help@www.journals.uchicago.edu (Byron E. Batteiger et al)
- RtxA1‐Induced Expression of the Small GTPase Rac2 Plays a Key Role in the Pathogenicity of Vibrio vulnificus November 17, 2009The Journal of Infectious Diseases, Volume 0, Issue 0, Page 000, Latest Articles. Infection with the human pathogen Vibrio vulnificus leads to the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) via NAD(P)H oxidase (Nox) in host cells. In the present study, we employed mutant V. vulnificus strains to identify an essential virulence factor responsible for this RO […]help@www.journals.uchicago.edu (Kyoung‐Jin Chung et al)
- Cryptosporidium parvum Induces B7‐H1 Expression in Cholangiocytes by Down‐Regulating MicroRNA‐513 November 16, 2009The Journal of Infectious Diseases, Volume 0, Issue 0, Page 000, Latest Articles. Expression of B7 costimulatory molecules represents an important compartment of immune response of epithelial cells after microbial infection. We report here that the protozoan parasite Cryptosporidium parvum induced B7‐H1 expression in cultured human cholangiocytes. Induced ex […]help@www.journals.uchicago.edu (Ai‐Yu Gong et al)

Background. We examined the effects and cost‐effectiveness of 4 strategies of circumcision in a resource‐rich setting (Australia) in a population of men who have sex with men (MSM). Method.
